At Rich’s Home, our purpose has remained the same for over four decades: to help you design spaces that bring people closer—inside and outside your home. Whether it’s gathering around a fire, sharing dinner al fresco, or simply lounging in comfort, every product we offer is chosen to inspire connection, warmth, and cherished memories.
How it All Started
It started with a call from my sister Ann in 1979: “Larry, have I got a business for you.” After two months of nonstop effort, we opened our first tiny store. We didn’t sell much that first year, but we learned, we grew, and we had a lot of fun doing it.
Fast forward—it’s now three generations later. From that humble beginning, we’ve grown into seven superstores across the Northwest, offering more fireplaces, hot tubs, grills, and outdoor furniture than anyone else in the country. Even better, our family is deeply woven into Rich’s story—from my wife Marianne and our daughters helping with store redesigns, to our son Jon now serving as CEO, and even the grandkids pitching in.
