ProBuilder Series™ of Gas Fireplaces: High-Quality, Economical HeatingBy Rich's For The Home, September 23, 2019If you’re looking for an economical gas fireplace that doesn’t compromise on quality or beauty, look no further than the ProBuilder Series™, designed and manufactured locally (in Mukilteo) by our friends at Travis Industries. These excellent zone heaters include simple operation systems and optional upgrades. There are two types of fireplaces to choose from in the ProBuilder Series: traditional clean face models and linear models. Let’s explore both types.Traditional Clean Face ModelsClean face fireplaces feature a simple trim rather than grills or decorative designer facing. This focuses all the attention on the tall, elegant profile and stunning fire.Currently, the traditional fireplaces are available in two sizes, with three different models in each size.ProBuilder 36 Clean FaceThis mid-sized fireplace is ideal for providing zonal warmth to family rooms and fireplaces. It showcases a big view of the fire – 780 square inches, to be exact. For many people, fireplace depth is a concern, which is why this fireplace is only 15 ¾ inches deep.ProBuilder 42 Clean FaceThis large fireplace replicates a big, beautiful traditional masonry fireplace and is perfect for grand spaces, heating up to 1,750 square feet.Three Models: Basic, GreenSmart Basic, and DeluxeBoth sizes of the ProBuilder Clean Face fireplace are available in three models – Basic MV, GreenSmart Basic (GSB), and Deluxe – that are identical when it comes to size, construction, and heating capacity. Each model, however, offers unique features:The Basic Millivolt (MV) model features a Continuous Pilot system where the pilot flame stays lit at all times. This model is a great choice for anyone who desires a simple heat source that does not require power for installation and operation. The GreenSmart® Basic (GSB) model conserves fuel with a GreenSmart® pilot system that automatically lights the fireplace when heat is called for, and turns off the fireplace when no heat is needed. As the name implies, the Deluxe model includes enhanced performance features and aesthetic choices, such as the *GreenSmart® Remote Control, Accent Lights, **Ember-Glo™, a 180 CFM convection fan, and two log set options.*The GreenSmart® Deluxe Remote controls these innovative features, such as Comfort Control™, Accent Lights, Flame Adjustment, Convection Fans, Pilot Modes and Thermostat Settings.**Ember-Glo™ combines adjustable halogen under-lighting with colored glass and embers in front of the fire to provide an amazingly realistic glowing ember bed effect. Turn this feature on and off with the GreenSmart® Deluxe Remote Control.Linear ModelsLinear models come in three sizes: 42, 54, and 72.ProBuilder 42 LinearThe 42 is an economical heat source for intimate spaces, such as bedrooms and cozy dens.ProBuilder 54 LinearThe 54 is a perfect choice for providing zonal heat to mid-sized and large entertaining spaces, such as family rooms. Check out the ProBuilder™ 54 Linear Gas Fireplace in action:ProBuilder 72 LinearThe 72 linear makes a dynamic statement in large spaces, such as great rooms. All three sizes of the linear fireplaces come in two models, Millivolt (MV) and GreenSmart® Basic (GSB). The features are identical to the ones described earlier in this article, in the section on clean face fireplaces.CoolSmart TV WallMany people choose to put a television on the wall above their gas fireplace. The optional CoolSmart TV Wall™ Kit allows you to safely install a TV above your fireplace without overheating the TV.This video shows how it works:Stop by Rich’s and ask to see our ProBuilder series.
