Sweet-Tooth Satisfaction from the Grill

In Recipes for the Grill by JHCadmin2 Comments

Chunky_chewyDid you know that you can grill desserts? Yum. Weber’s has a nice online section of grilling recipes of all kinds, including ones for when you have a sweet tooth. They recommend that you burn off any residue from dinner before starting dessert and they especially recommend peach halves, bananas and pineapple slices, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, of course.

Their recipes are many and include: Anzac Biscuits, Apples with Crumb Topping, Bananas Calypso, Berry Biscotti Crisp, Bread Pudding with Dried Cherries, Chunky Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cranberry Apple Cake, Fresh figs with Honey Sauce, Fresh Raspberry "Shortcake" with Chocolate Whipped Cream, Grilled Fruit Compote, Grilled Peaches with Fresh Cherry Sauce and more.

Wow! I had no idea that all of these could be made on a grill. I can’t wait to get started!

See these recipes and more by going to Rich’s, clicking on "BBQ’s & Grills", choosing either "Charcoal" or "Gas". Then click on "Weber" and "Recipes and Tips" and the "What’s Cooking" link. Choose "Desserts" and you are there. Sorry that there isn’t a direct link but I promise following this path is still very worth your time.

You can also, by the way, sign up to receive their new recipes every week by email. Very cool.
