Bristol Gas Stove from Hearthstone: Three-Sided Fire Viewing and High-Tech ControlsBy JHCadmin, November 7, 2011I love watching the flickering flames in my gas stove from all angles. Which would explain why I like the Bristol stove from Hearthstone. With its three-sided fire viewing area, I can spend hours lounging near this attractive stove, which, incidentally, comes in three colors: black, brown, and basil. Couch potato’s dreamThe Bristol is both attractive and efficient. It heats up to 1800 square feet, and its remote control allows you to adjust several of the stove’s features from anywhere in the room:“Smart thermostat”: Control the room temperature up or down, just as you would with a regular thermostat. This feature modulates the stove’s flame levels automatically as the room reaches your set-point temperature.Five-level flame control: Adjust the flame height up or down.Two-stage (split) burner: Change the ambiance of your room.Five-speed fan control: Regulates the blower’s function and speed.“Child-safe” lock-out feature: Prevents little ones from fiddling with the stove’s controls. ProFlame electronic ignition systemWhen your stove isn’t in use, the pilot is off, resulting in considerable fuel savings. The Bristol also comes with a battery backup, so you can use the stove even if one of our winter wind storms leaves you without electricity.Natural Gas or PropaneThe Bristol is factory configured for natural gas, but is easily convertible to work with liquid propane.Owner's ManualLearn more about this energy-efficient gem by downloading the owner’s manual.More of Rich’s Articles on Hearthstone StovesFeatures to Look for in a Pellet StoveHeritage Pellet Stove: The Prettiest Pellet Stove in Town (Efficient, too!) ‘Like’ Rich’s on FacebookWe provide daily tips and Internet-only specials on our Facebook page.
